Jesse Mc Lin is a multidisciplinary artist. His work spans an array of mediums including painting, ceramics, mixed media sculptures, and large scale wood installations.
Jesse Mc Lin (b. 1975) is a ceramic artist and painter. Previously based in New York for 10 years, he currently lives and works in Hong Kong. He received his BFA from the Kansas City Art Institute and his MFA from NYS College of Ceramics at Alfred University.
Jesse Mc Lin runs an internationally recognised collaborative art practice named Julie & Jesse with his wife, Julie Progin, as well as being the art director and co-founder of design brand Latitude 22N.
Jesse’s paintings and sculptures have been exhibited at Ilivetomorrow Gallery, Amelia Johnson Gallery and Blue Lotus Gallery, and in group exhibitions in China and South Korea and can be found in private collections worldwide. His ceramic work is held in numerous collections such as M+ Museum (HK), The HK Palace Museum (HK), K11 Art Foundation.
